Established Business in Australia
This visa is designed for those business people who are temporary residents, and have established a business in Australia. If you are on a bridging visa, criminal justice visa, diplomatic visa, border visa or transit visa, you may not apply for this visa.
You need to have been in Australia for approximately nine months during the twelve months before you apply for this visa.
You must satisfy a points test conducted by the Department of Immigration, and you must score 105 points in the established Business in Australia Points Test.
If you hold this visa, you may live in Australia as a permanent resident for five years. After five years, you will need to apply for a resident return visa.
Regional Established Business in Australia Visa
This visa is designed for those business people who hold a Business (long stay) visa, and have owned a business in a designated regional area of Australia for at least two years.
To apply for this visa, you need to be sponsored by a state or territory government authority.
Unless there are exceptional circumstances, you must score at least 105 points in the Regional Established Business in Australia Points Test.
If you hold this visa, you may live in Australia as a permanent resident for five years. After five years, you will need to apply for a Resident Return Visa.
