Consultation Terms & Conditions
These terms apply to consultation bookings made with Shada Migration Services. By submitting a booking request and paying the displayed consultation fee, you acknowledge these terms and the Cancellation & Refund Policy.
1. Selected consultation service
Professional Consultation — up to 60 minutes — $330 AUD
Includes professional advice provided during the consultation. A written Letter of Advice or written strategy is not included unless Shada separately agrees to provide one.
Consultation + Written Advice & Strategy — $660 AUD
Includes the consultation and a written advice/strategy component prepared after the consultation, based on the information and documents available and the matters discussed.
Neither service includes preparation or lodgement of an application, ongoing representation, Department or tribunal correspondence, or management of an immigration matter unless separately agreed in writing.
If you request immigration assistance outside the selected consultation package, Shada will confirm the scope separately and, where required by the Migration Agents Code of Conduct, provide the appropriate service agreement before undertaking that additional work.
2. Purpose and basis of advice
The consultation is intended to provide professional migration information and advice, pathway discussion, eligibility review and strategic guidance appropriate to the information available at the time.
You are responsible for providing accurate, complete and current information. Advice may change if relevant information is omitted, inaccurate, incomplete or subsequently changes.
3. No guarantee of outcome
Booking a consultation does not guarantee the outcome of any visa, citizenship, sponsorship, review, tribunal, cancellation, Ministerial Intervention or other immigration matter. Outcomes remain subject to applicable law, policy, evidence and the relevant decision-maker.
4. Documents and information
You may upload documents that are reasonably relevant to the advice you seek. Shada may be unable to provide complete advice if important information or documents are unavailable. Uploaded material forms part of the consultation record.
5. Professional and regulatory information
Shada Migration Services provides registered migration advice under MARN 0958292. Before your consultation, please read the OMARA Consumer Guide using the link in the Important Information section above. The current Migration Agents Code of Conduct is also linked there.
Where the Code permits an initial consultation without a separate service agreement, the consultation may proceed on that basis. This does not remove applicable requirements concerning reasonable fees, receipts, client money, refunds or other professional obligations.
6. Fees, payment and client money
All consultation prices displayed at checkout are in Australian dollars. The amount displayed at checkout is the amount charged for the selected service.
Consultation fees are paid in advance. Successful card authorisation does not, by itself, mean that the whole amount has immediately become earned professional fees. Advance payments are handled and accounted for as client money in accordance with the Migration Agents Code of Conduct.
When the relevant work or service has been performed and the applicable invoice or Statement of Services is issued, the corresponding amount may be applied to professional fees in accordance with the Code.
After successful payment, Shada provides a payment receipt and client account statement recording the amount received and its current client-account position.
No separate card surcharge. Shada Migration Services does not add a separate Visa, Mastercard or American Express card-payment surcharge to the displayed consultation price. Merchant or payment-processing costs charged to Shada do not increase the amount charged to you at checkout.
7. Appointment confirmation, format and duration
Payment confirms receipt of your booking request but does not by itself confirm a particular appointment time. Shada will review the booking and contact you to confirm the appointment arrangements.
Consultations may be conducted by telephone, Google Meet or face-to-face at the Parramatta office, subject to availability. Late attendance may reduce the available consultation time because appointments generally finish at the scheduled time.
8. No ongoing engagement and consultation-fee credits
The selected consultation package does not create an ongoing engagement for migration representation or case management. Any later professional engagement will be subject to the terms applicable to that work.
If Shada offers to credit some or all of a consultation fee toward later professional services, the credit will be applied only in accordance with the later engagement and its invoicing arrangements. A credit is not automatic and may not apply to every service.
