About the Consultation

A migration consultation provides an opportunity to discuss your circumstances with a registered migration agent and obtain preliminary advice regarding your immigration matter.

Consultations may assist with visa applications, Australian citizenship matters, employer sponsorship, skilled migration, family migration, visa refusals, visa cancellations, Administrative Review Tribunal (ART) matters, Ministerial Intervention requests and other immigration issues.

Consultations may be conducted by telephone, Google Meet video conference or face-to-face appointment at our Parramatta office, subject to availability.

Consultation Fees

The consultation fee applies to the scheduled consultation only and does not include preparation, lodgement, representation or ongoing migration services unless separately agreed in writing.

Consultation Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to consultation bookings made with Shada Migration Services. By submitting a booking request and paying the consultation fee, you acknowledge and agree to the terms below.

1. General

1.1 These Consultation Terms & Conditions govern all consultation bookings made with Shada Migration Services.

1.2 By booking and paying for a consultation, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to these Consultation Terms & Conditions.

1.3 Shada Migration Services may provide consultations by telephone, Google Meet video conference or face-to-face appointment at our Parramatta office, subject to availability.

2. Purpose of Consultation

2.1 A consultation is intended to provide professional migration information, preliminary advice, visa pathway discussion, eligibility review and strategic guidance based on the information provided by you at the time of consultation.

2.2 Advice provided during the consultation is based on the information available at the time of the appointment.

2.3 If relevant information is omitted, inaccurate, incomplete or later changes, the advice provided during the consultation may also change.

3. No Guarantee of Outcome

3.1 Booking a consultation does not guarantee the success of any visa application, citizenship application, sponsorship application, review application, tribunal matter, Ministerial Intervention request or any other immigration matter.

3.2 All immigration outcomes remain subject to Australian migration legislation, policy, evidentiary requirements and the discretion of the relevant decision-maker.

4. No Ongoing Engagement

4.1 Payment of a consultation fee covers the consultation appointment only.

4.2 A consultation does not create an ongoing client relationship for preparation, lodgement, representation or management of an immigration matter.

4.3 Ongoing migration services require a separate written agreement between you and Shada Migration Services.

5. Consultation Duration

5.1 Consultations are scheduled for the duration selected at the time of booking.

5.2 Additional time may require a further appointment or additional consultation fees.

6. Documents and Information

6.1 You are encouraged to provide relevant documents before the consultation, including visa records, Department correspondence, refusal decisions, cancellation notices, tribunal documents, identity documents and any other material relevant to your matter.

6.2 Shada Migration Services may not be able to provide complete advice if relevant documents or information are not provided before or during the consultation.

7. Consultation Fee Credit

7.1 Where offered by Shada Migration Services, consultation fees may be credited towards professional fees for a related migration matter.

7.2 Any consultation fee credit is subject to the terms communicated at the time of engagement and may not apply to all services.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

This Cancellation & Refund Policy applies to consultation bookings made with Shada Migration Services.

8. Rescheduling Appointments

8.1 If you are unable to attend your scheduled consultation, you should notify Shada Migration Services as soon as possible.

8.2 Appointments may be rescheduled without additional charge where at least two (2) business days' notice is provided and an alternative appointment time is available.

8.3 Unless otherwise agreed, only one complimentary rescheduling request will be permitted.

9. Late Attendance

9.1 Late attendance may reduce the available consultation time.

9.2 Consultation sessions will generally conclude at the scheduled finishing time to avoid impacting other appointments.

9.3 If you arrive significantly late, Shada Migration Services may shorten the consultation or require a new appointment to be booked.

10. Failure to Attend

10.1 If you fail to attend a scheduled consultation without prior notice, the consultation fee will generally be forfeited.

10.2 A new consultation fee may be required to arrange another appointment.

11. Refund Policy

11.1 Consultation fees are generally non-refundable once a booking has been confirmed.

11.2 Requests for refunds arising from exceptional circumstances may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

11.3 The decision to approve or decline a refund request is at the sole discretion of Shada Migration Services.

11.4 Refunds will not generally be provided where a client fails to attend, arrives late, changes their mind, or fails to provide relevant information or documents.

12. Cancellation by Shada Migration Services

12.1 If Shada Migration Services is unable to proceed with a scheduled consultation due to unforeseen circumstances, the client may be offered a rescheduled appointment or a refund of the consultation fee paid.

12.2 Shada Migration Services will not be responsible for indirect loss, inconvenience, travel costs or other expenses arising from rescheduling or cancellation of a consultation.
