Coordinates and supervises civil-construction and infrastructure site operations, including program delivery, workforce, plant, materials, quality, safety and site records.
Typical tasks and duties
Civil Construction Site Supervisor may perform the following tasks:
- coordinating daily site operations with the project manager and monitoring output
- planning labour, plant, survey and materials required to meet the project program
- implementing inspection, test, risk, safety and environmental plans
- conducting site inductions, meetings, inspections and safety checks
- checking work against drawings, specifications, levels and authority requirements
- maintaining daily records of site activities, deliveries, plant, labour, weather and variations
- checking operator qualifications and monitoring plant servicing, security and incident reporting
